Our Lady of Lourdes Estate Management Project
Some of the services that Our Lady of Lourdes Estate Management offer are assistance with Housing application forms, Transfer forms, Grant forms such as Housing aid for the Elderly, Mobility Grants, upgrade of your home heating system or Attic and wall insulation through Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland.
We also Link with Limerick City & County Council on your behalf to report your housing maintenance issues and faults
We try to keep your estate clean and presentable,
we litter pick five mornings a week,
we currently have a team of 6 environmental workers.
As part of the environmental work we also link with
Our Lady of Lourdes National School to run small scale
We enter Team Limerick clean-up, “Going for Gold”
and Tidy Towns competitions.
We offer a food waste prevention course to members of the
community which provides tips on Cooking, using leftover food,
storing cooked foods, shopping wisely, nutritional information and
reading food labels, part of this course also includes a tour of
Mungret recycling centre.
We link with the office of Regeneration to keep information flowing freely between Council and Residents, Estate management participate in many committees such as Residents Forum, Regeneration committee and the community consultative forum.
We also work with some other residential committees.
The Estate Manager manages the community bus on behalf of the Organisation, taking bookings and ensuring that the bus is kept in a road worthy condition
