At Our Lady of Lourdes, the Family Support Service provides kind, practical support to families in our community. The approach is non-judgemental and focuses on building trusting relationships where families feel heard, respected, and supported.
Strong communities are built on strong relationships, and this service is rooted in connection, care, and respect.
Support is offered through both everyday life and more challenging times, including one-to-one support, early intervention, and prevention work. This includes guidance, encouragement, and advocacy where needed. The aim is to strengthen confidence, support positive outcomes for smallies and their grown-ups, and help families feel more connected in their community.
This service is committed to working in partnership with families and local services so that every child has the opportunity to thrive and no family feels alone.
